GENERAL DATA: LOCATION-CLIMATE-POPULATION

Location: Situated in the province of Santa Fe, Rosario is 300 km away from the capital city of Argentina. It is one of the main cities of the country since it is located in a strategic place for the Mercosur.
Weather: The climate is hot with average maximum temperature of 24ºc and average minimum temperatures of 12ºc.
Geographical position: Rosario city borders on the Parana River to the East.Besides, it borders respectivily on the Ludueña and saladillo streams to the Notrh and South.
Population: Rosario is the second biggest city in Argentina with 1.400.308 inhabitants and a modern urban development.

INTERESTING BUILDINGS

The “Biblioteca argentina”: It has a large garden with 3.500 square meters. There are exibition romms, a newspaper library and the offices of the united nations.
Contemporary art museum: in 1995 it became a cultural center. It has shows, exibitions informations.
The flag memorial: It was built on 20th June (xx century) in honor to the flag that’s way us call it “The house of our national flag”.
The airport is only 13 km away from the city couter operations a hight number of flights.

The Independence Park and “La Florida” beach are important sites, where tourists can go on bike, hourse riding excursion or practice among other activities.
Nightly, in Rosario deserves to be mentioned it is busy and lively providing the ideal atmosphereto enjoy yourself moments in bars, pubs or discos.

Parana river: The city runs along the Parana river. There you can practise water sports, or ride across the Rosario Victoria Bridge. You can olso enjoy a wonderful beach day in the isles sand bank.
Green parks are green spaces where you can relax and enjoy yourself. You can find museums or sites specially designed for children’s entertainment and enjoy the weekend.
